We always have lots of things happening at the book bag. Our annual book sale is coming up soon. During the first week of June, all books in stock will be 10% off. It's a great time to stock up for summer reading. During this book sale, we will be donating 25 cents from the proceeds for each book sold to the Young Writer's Workshop sponsored by the Seven Falls Arts Council. The Young Writer's Workshop will be held in October this year. We have information available at the front desk for those who are interested. The workshop is for children in the first through the sixth grades.
We love to invite authors to the shop to allow you to get acquainted with them. They are always happy to autograph their books for you and visit with you about their book. The next book signing is scheduled for the 15th of August. Many of you are fans of Grif Stockley. His legal thrillers are crafted with suspense and humor, which makes for a delightful read. Grif will be at the store from 1:00 until 3:00 in the afternoon and will be happy to sign either newly purchased books or any of his books that you currently own. We will have several copies available of Salted With Fire, his latest book. Drop by and enjoy visiting with Grif and sampling tea and cookies from the cafe.
